MADVAC Litter Picker
Model 101
This is a litter collection vehicle that uses a combustion engine to
power its all-hydraulic system. Available in Diesel, Gas, or LP
versions. A collection hose is attached to a power assisted boom which
swings through a wide radius surrounding the front of the machine. A
strong vacuum effect is created by a hydraulically driven impellor located
at the base of the 60 gallon collection chamber. The Madvac has
a patented flow-through design that allows trash to follow the air stream as
it is pulled through the collection hose. Air flow and debris continue
into the top of the drum-like receptacle, and the debris becomes separated
from the air flow by a porous bag inserted into the inner shell of the drum.
The air flow continues through the length of the drum in order to be
exhausted at its base. In this way the debris is compacted by the air
pressure in the drum at a 2:1 ratio as compared to a static condition.
At the exhaust vent in the base of the drum, there are several styles of
dust filters available to contain air borne dust not captured by the
collection bag. Collection bags are manually removed as they are
filled, and either disposed of, or emptied into standard 50 gallon plastic
drum liners. You may then choose to reinsert the Madvac disposable
bag, or use the permanent Kevlar liner to reset the drum and start
collecting again.
The base 101 style machine starts
with a three wheel, front wheel drive version. The base unit has many
options that allow you to essentially "build" the machine for specific
applications. Please call us - we will get you the details you will
need to customize your machine. Pricing starts at under $30,000, but
will rise to over $35,000 with extensive options.
