R.P.S. Corp. Tomcat Model 275 Rider Burnisher A riding floor burnisher machine, available with a 27 inch polishing path. This battery powered rider floor burnisher provides the long operating time required by high square footage application.
Advantages:
• A rider burnisher can increase your productivity approximately 2.5 times over a walk behind battery operated burnisher. The pad surface area on a 27 inch burnisher is 82% greater than the pad surface area on a 20 inch burnisher. A rider burnisher can safely transport 60% faster (4 mph vs. 2.5 mph) than the average walk behind burnisher.Demonstration Equipment:
• Only Factory Cat rider burnishers offer 3-4 hours of run time on a single charge. Include the optional 2nd on-board battery pack and get 6-8 hours of run time. Competing rider burnishers offer as little as 1.5 hour per charge. Polish 250,000 square feet of finished floors per shift with a Tomcat 275 burnisher!
• These burnishers increase your productivity by minimizing operator fatigue, while also allowing for a faster pace of operation. Keeping the operator at task increases your overall efficiency, plus increases the square footage polished per hour to reduce your overall employment costs.
• Battery operated burnishers are quiet (only 70 dBA at operator’s position) and can be used in applications where noisier equipment is restricted.
• Safety improves when the burnisher operator sits up front where he can see the on- coming traffic at the intersection of aisles. Walk behind battery machines enter the intersection up to four feet before the operator can see any approaching traffic.
• 27 inch battery burnishers do not produce dangerous carbon monoxide like a 27 inch propane burnisher. Air quality is important in hospitals and facilities that remain open to the public during floor maintenance. A Tomcat rider burnisher can replace the productivity of this device without generating a loss of air quality which compromises both health and safety.
